Plugged-In

A short video about our relationship with technology:

The first task in our Media, Technology, and Society module was to create a short video (one-minute long) to explore one aspect of our relationship with technology, perhaps in response to trends in the industry or observations from our own experiences.

I chose to explore the idea of technology as a means of connectivity, both the positives of remaining informed about global affairs and also the negatives of feeling 'plugged-in' to an online world.

We only had a short window of time for the task, so it is not the most 'high-production' video I have ever made - I would've liked to spend more time on mixing the audio and overlaying some additional graphics - but the concept of the piece is clear.
